Joanne Naulls was the organist chosen to entertain us this Sunday and she certainly did - with charm and some very smooth playing. The music started with well known marches and was followed by music from the shows.

The second half started with a few hymns at a new beat, with acknowledgment to one of the BBC gospel versions of "Songs of Praise". Joanne says the lights dipped in the church where she last played this selection so she thinks she has approval for this modern version! We then had a session of music to sing to, not too many Tom Jones in the audience but the coach party from Wells organised by past chairman, Robin White, were in good voice and came to the fore with "Bless This House." People from far and wide attended this concert. One man well into his eighties from Surrey, a young lady - Miss. F. Snowden - on holiday at Weston from Edinburgh and Mr. John Ellicott came up from Cornwall especially for the concert. How's that for dedication.
